Credit for Panama's Comptroller's Office

The Panamanian Cabinet approved an additional credit of over $24 million for the Comptroller General's Office. The funds will ensure the continuity of institutional and national projects.

As approved, 90% will be allocated to operating expenses and 10% to investment. These are resources contemplated within the 2026 State General Budget. Here, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was also authorized to present the resolution before the Budget Commission of the National Assembly for its respective evaluation and processing. The objective is to guarantee the continuity of institutional and national projects.
