The University of Panama, through the University of Work and the Third Age (UTTE), successfully implements training programs focused on employability. Among them are courses in professional makeup and eye design, specializing in eyebrows and eyelashes. These initiatives are part of an academic offer focused on developing high-demand technical skills, aimed at facilitating rapid labor insertion and fostering entrepreneurship. Under the guidance of Professor María Martínez, participants acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in application techniques, aesthetic care, and current trends in the beauty industry. This training allows them to develop concrete skills to integrate into the service sector or start their own businesses. As the teacher explained, the main purpose of these programs is to promote economic autonomy.
