This Saturday, April 11, the death of businessman Roberto Motta Alvarado, at the age of 86, was made public. Motta Alvarado had an extensive career in the social and corporate worlds. He held prominent positions such as president of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDE) and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture of Panama, among other roles. He was also a shareholder and director of entities such as Banco General, ASSA Compañía de Seguros, Golf Mills, and Calox. He also participated in the founding of Santa María La Antigua Catholic University. It was reported that his funeral will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the San Lucas Church.
