This mission is part of Panama's strategy following its incorporation into Mercosur, aimed at strengthening economic integration and facilitating the internationalization of companies towards Central America, the Caribbean, and other regional markets. Panama is participating, aware of its role as a hub to facilitate trade between different destinations, thus contributing to greater fluidity in commercial relations, he added. In turn, Quirno emphasized the shared interest in strengthening economic ties. The official visit includes meetings with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services, the Argentine Council for International Relations, the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress, and the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The goal is to position Panama as a regional platform for trade, services, logistics, and investment, as well as to identify concrete opportunities for Argentine companies to establish operations in the country. Argentine Minister Pablo Quirno participated in the signing, accompanying the formalization of the instrument that will serve as a technical and political basis to advance talks focused on preferential trade, trade facilitation, cooperation, and investment. "These Terms of Reference focus us on the goal of achieving a mutually beneficial exchange for both countries. They are the starting point for Argentine companies to access more markets," he noted. "This is a step that both countries are taking responsibly," Moltó stated.
