Fourteen adults, aged 46 to 93, have successfully completed the Post-Literacy Program of the Ministry of Education (Meduca) in Veraguas, learning to read and write.

Meduca reported that during an emotional ceremony held at the Los Hatillos School, the participants celebrated this significant achievement, demonstrating that it's never too late to study.

During the event, 87-year-old Mrs. Carmela Agrazal recited the poem "Patria" by Ricardo Miró, while 93-year-old Mr. Maximiliano Campo received his certificate after completing the Spanish and mathematics classes.
