Tense Weekend in Panama's Samaria Neighborhood Following Homicide

A tense weekend is underway in the Samaria neighborhood, in Cerro Cocobolo, located in the Arnulfo Arias Madrid corregimiento (San Miguelito), Panama, after a new crime was recorded on Sunday afternoon. About this bloody incident, despite occurring around 1:15 PM, very few details are known. Although officers rushed him to a nearby medical center, the emergency doctor who treated him could do nothing for him and could only determine that he had no vital signs. The San Miguelito Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor's Office is investigating the homicide to identify the motive and those involved, but in the neighborhood, as in others located in so-called 'red zones', the law of silence prevails. The units arrived at the scene and found Aldair mortally wounded. Little has been revealed by its residents about the crime. After completing their mission, the fugitives fled without being captured. When residents of the area heard the gunshots, they called the National Police. So far, it has only been revealed that the victim was identified as Aldair Iván Arauz García, 18 years old. The young man was at a place known as 'Patio Limoso', where he was located by the hitman(s), who shot him multiple times.
