Over 100 students, teachers, and parents celebrated today the inauguration of the Buena Vista and El Pedregoso educational centers. These two projects have finally provided safe and dignified classrooms for communities that had been waiting for improvements for years. The Centro Educativo Buena Vista, delivered by the Meduca with an investment of B/. 1,130,264.52, includes theoretical classrooms, a support room, a preschool with a play area, a dining-kitchen, type II bathrooms, a civic plaza, a flagpole, a shed, and a 10 KVA photovoltaic system. In addition, it features water, reserve tanks, a fire-fighting system, and signage. Meanwhile, the Centro Educativo El Pedregoso had a cost of B/. 1,157,625.59 and includes theoretical classrooms, a support room, a preschool with play area, dining-kitchen, type II sanitary services, a civic plaza, and a shed, with a septic tank, water tanks, a fire alarm, new pipes, and general painting.
