Panama's Ministry of Education has announced the opening of registration for the PRAE program. The program is designed for students who have failed from 1 to 3 subjects and includes teacher training and courses to reinforce learning.

Panama. From December 29, 2025, to January 2, 2026, registrations for the Student Academic Recovery Program (PRAE) will be open, as detailed by the Ministry of Education (Meduca). Teacher training will take place from December 30, 2025, to January 2, 2026. The class schedule will be from January 5 to February 6, 2026, Monday to Friday, with 60-minute sessions. This PRAE, which establishes an organized process of registration, teacher training, class development, evaluation, and certification, is being advanced with the objective of reinforcing learning and offering an academic opportunity to students who have failed from 1 to 3 subjects. The cost of the program will be B/.7.00 per subject, of which B/.2.00 will be for the acquisition of teaching materials, technology, and necessary supplies.
