The record company announced this new deal, which is focused on releasing new music, international collaborations, and expanding the Spanish-language 'afrobeats' genre. Sony Music stated that Boza "officially renewed his recording contract, reaffirming a strategic alliance that has been key to his artistic growth and the sustained development of his career on a global level." This "new chapter" with Sony Music "marks the beginning of a new creative and strategic phase, focused on the release of new music, international collaborations, and an even more ambitious expansion of 'afrobeats' in Spanish, a movement of which Boza has become one of its main exponents." This renewal also "reaffirms the mutual trust and long-term vision of both parties, with the commitment to continue building a global career based on consistency, authenticity, and a genuine connection with audiences". The artist of hits like "Orión" and "Hecha Pa’ Mi" accumulates 13 million monthly listeners and over 1.06 million followers on Spotify, while YouTube sums up more than 1.44 billion views and 1.31 million subscribers, according to the record label. In July 2025, Boza was included in the Forbes Centroamérica 30 Under 30 list, a selection that recognizes several people under 30 from the region who are impacting different industries.
