The goal is to avoid fights, accidents, and any situation that could tarnish the Carnivals in Panama. More than 5,000 units of the SENAFRONT will be tested on the streets from the first day of the festivities. The “Carnaval Seguro 2026” operation has already been activated and will have a strong presence in Panama and in other points where the Carnival draws large crowds and things get lively. The deployment is not alone. The instruction is clear: visible presence, rapid reaction, and coordinated work among all entities. The authorities assure that the operation will be continuous, without pauses, and with 24/7 coverage in the different areas under their responsibility. It is not just about protecting stages; there will be checkpoints on roads, patrols in neighboring areas, surveillance on beaches, and control on the most trafficked access routes. The director of SENAFRONT, Larry Solís, explained that the mission is to guarantee the safety of those who go out to enjoy the festivities. In parallel, the National Police, Aeronaval, Migration, SUME, ATTT, Firefighters, Sinapro, and the MINSA will be present.
