Young firefighters to train in United States

A group of 10 members of the Infantile-Youth Brigade of the Honorable Fire Department departed today for the United States to participate in an important exchange program in Mineola, Long Island. During ten days, they will share experiences, knowledge, and values with firefighters from that community. During their stay in New York, the young people will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the operation of fire stations, participate in training activities, and have an experience that will significantly contribute to their personal growth, discipline, and sense of responsibility. Two instructor officers accompany the young people, who will be in charge of their training, safety, and comprehensive development, strengthening their technical skills and vocation for service from an early age. The institution highlights that the program is possible thanks to the support of the Carvallo Family Foundation and the backing of the Office of the First Lady of the Republic, led by Maricel Cohen de Mulino, reaffirming its commitment to Panamanian youth and the strengthening of initiatives that promote education, leadership, and international cooperation.
