The traffic arm also gave no respite: 3,900 tickets were issued for violating the Traffic Regulations. Among the most common offenses are: 657 for speeding, 219 for inadequate lights, and 164 for proven drunkenness while driving. Additionally, 519 vehicles were removed with a tow truck for various irregularities detected during the operations, evidencing the risk that some drivers represent for road safety in Panama. Raids and seizures that hit crime In the front against crime, police units executed 159 search warrants, where they managed to seize 14 packages of alleged drugs, along with 10 firearms and 50 ammunition. These results are part of the strategy to curb criminal structures and return tranquility to the citizenry.
