In one of the incidents, several armed individuals took advantage of the darkness to break into a home and shoot a man to death. As a result of the attack, one person was killed. This incident occurred in the Cabuya area, in the corregimiento of Tocumen. The victim had no time to escape from the hitmen and died at the scene as the aggressors fled. As a result of this attack, a minor who was also inside the property was injured. In another incident, not far from that place, specifically in La Siesta de Tocumen, a taxi driver was murdered. Regarding this case, no further details about how the events occurred have been released. Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor's Office staff, in conjunction with units from the Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ), are investigating both cases. So far, no suspects have been reported to have been arrested.
