MrBeast's Panama Island to Return to Organizers After Winner's Decision

The winner of the second season of Beast Games, Ian Weber, declined the prize—a private island in Panama valued at $1.8 million—opting for a cash payout to ensure his family's well-being. The island, which became a luxury set, will be used for future MrBeast productions.

According to the terms, Weber was given the option to keep the property or accept the cash amount, a decision he ultimately made to ensure his family's well-being. MrBeast's production transformed the island in the Gulf of Panama, a pristine piece of land, into a luxury set. The island returned to the MrBeast organization following Weber's decision, who prioritized his family's financial security over physical ownership of a remote paradise. According to Variety, the team invested in constructing a main cabin, a pool, and 10 oceanfront bungalows, creating a setting that merged the aesthetic of survival reality shows with the opulence of a private resort. MrBeast's island, known as Isla La Vivienda, is located in the Pearl Archipelago, Panama, about 48 kilometers south of the mainland. In 2025, MrBeast surprised the international public by gifting a private island in Panama valued at $1.8 million as one of its central prizes. In the second season, aired in January 2026, Ian Weber (Player 148) became the winner of the island, although he did not win the grand prize of the competition. Therefore, this island will be used in future Beast Games productions. The land remains uninhabited and is distinguished by its turquoise waters and proximity to the Bayoneta and Málaga islands. The Pearl Archipelago has also been the setting for other competition programs, such as Survivor. For the Beast Games series, an exclusive infrastructure was developed on the property, featuring a main cabin and several bungalows built specifically for the reality show. The island paradise has ceased to be just a remote location and has become a symbol of the power of digital content and the magnitude of possible prizes in the era of global creators.
