Residents of the area had reported that the space was occupied by food stalls and other informal activities, affecting its function as a recreational and community area. With the rehabilitation, the San Miguelito Municipality aims to return the park to its original purpose and strengthen community ties in one of the district's fastest-growing communities. Authorities reiterated that interested parties can access all documentation of the process through official channels. The homologation act will take place on April 6, while the presentation of proposals is scheduled for April 23. The initiative is part of the municipality's plans to improve urban infrastructure and promote safer and more accessible public spaces. The San Miguelito Municipality announced the opening of the public tender process for the "Park Improvement in Brisas del Golf" project, located in the Rufina Alfaro district, with a reference price of 1.2 million dollars. The project envisages a comprehensive intervention that includes complementary works, rainwater infrastructure, a basketball court, a synthetic field, an administrative building, a space for the elderly, as well as landscaping work, according to the terms and conditions. As part of the public act schedule, the site visit is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, with a meeting point at the park itself, where interested companies can view the intervention area. The contract will have a duration of 425 calendar days; however, the work is estimated to be completed within a one-year period. This project is particularly significant after the park had to be recovered by authorities after years of deterioration and misuse.
