National Bank of Panama Recycles Electronic Material

Banco Nacional de Panamá has carried out an initiative for the recycling of 687.5 pounds of electronic material. The action was undertaken in collaboration with the Lions Club of Panama and the Más Móvil Foundation, with the aim of ensuring proper disposal of this type of waste.

During the recycling day, a significant amount of unused electronic devices was collected, such as computers, cell phones, printers, and other devices. These were received at the Banco Nacional de Panamá facilities, where they were sorted and prepared for subsequent recycling.

Once the electronic material was collected, it was dismantled and separated into components to facilitate its treatment and proper recycling. This process contributes to the reduction of electronic waste and promotes sustainable practices in the management of this type of waste.

The Banco Nacional de Panamá, along with its allies, fosters environmental awareness and social responsibility by promoting actions like this, which benefit both the environment and the community as a whole.

In the words of a representative of the Banco Nacional de Panamá: "We are committed to environmental protection and to promoting responsible practices in the management of electronic waste. This initiative is an important step towards building a more sustainable future for everyone."
