Panama will host events for Vaccination Week in the Americas. The Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization selected Panama from a group of 45 countries.
The events are dedicated to Vaccination Week in the Americas and will take place under the slogan "Vaccines Work: #VaccinesSaveLives". The Ministry of Health of Panama announced the goals of the events: to raise public awareness about vaccination against COVID-19 and other diseases.
"Our country is proud of the fact that it was entrusted to host this important event aimed at ensuring the safe vaccination of all residents of the region," stated a representative of the Ministry of Health.
The events will be a platform for sharing experiences among participants from different countries. The start of Vaccination Week is scheduled for August of this year and will take place in an online format from Panama.
