According to the official statement, atmospheric conditions are expected to persist that could generate sustained winds and waves of up to a certain height in these coastal areas. Therefore, the population is urged to take precautions and pay attention to the recommendations of the authorities.
"It is important for citizens to stay informed through official channels and follow the instructions to protect their safety and that of their families," said the director of Sinaproc.
The advisory is extended with the aim of preventing incidents and ensuring the safety of residents and visitors in the affected areas. Mariners are advised to take additional measures and avoid going to sea unless absolutely necessary.
