Units of the National Police, in coordination with officials from the Public Prosecutor's Office, carried out the apprehension of two people related to crimes against freedom and sexual integrity, specifically in the modality of aggravated rape. The joint operation was carried out by agents of the Judicial Investigation Division and the Sexual Crimes Prosecutor's Office in the district of Alcalde Díaz.
The case was presented to the competent judicial authorities for more detailed investigations to be conducted and the corresponding sanctions to be applied.
In an official statement, it was mentioned that: "These arrests are the result of hard investigative work coordinated between the National Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office. We remain committed to combating this type of crime and bringing to justice those who threaten the integrity of individuals."
The community of Alcalde Díaz has received the news of the capture of the alleged aggressors with relief, and it is expected that the legal process will continue its course to fully clarify what happened and ensure that justice is served in this case of aggravated rape.
