Authorities are investigating a case of rape that took place at the Nicolás Solano Hospital during the early hours of Carnival Tuesday.
According to preliminary reports, a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unknown individual while in the hospital area. The victim was moved to a safe location after the incident and is expected to receive psychological support to overcome this traumatic experience.
Local authorities have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrator and bring him to justice. Meanwhile, security at the hospital has been reinforced to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
"We are working hard to clarify what happened and ensure the safety of all individuals who come to our hospital. Violence of any kind will not be tolerated, and we will do everything possible to achieve justice in this case," said a hospital spokesperson.
