Program 'Women's Smile' Provides Dental Assistance

The 'Women's Smile' program, developed by the University of Panama together with the First Lady, will offer free dental assistance to the community. This project reaffirms the social commitment and connection of the institution with society.


The Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Panama is promoting the "Women's Smile" program in collaboration with the office of the First Lady of the Republic. This initiative, according to the Rector of the UP, Dr. Eduardo Flores Castro, reflects the institution's commitment to society and its social responsibility.

Dr. Eduardo Flores Castro emphasized that this project is part of the University’s efforts to contribute to the well-being of the community. In this regard, a partnership has been signed with the First Lady of the Republic, Maricel Cohen de Mulino, and the Minister of the Presidency, Juan Carlos Orillac.

Through the "Women's Smile" program, the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Panama will provide free dental assistance to women in need. This initiative aims to improve the oral health of the beneficiaries and contribute to their overall well-being.

The commitment of the Faculty of Dentistry to society is reflected in this program that seeks to positively impact the quality of life of Panamanian women.
