At the Anita Moreno Hospital, located in the central provinces of Panama, fluctuations in the electricity supply have been reported, affecting the operation of air conditioning in several sections of the institution. This situation has caused discomfort for both healthcare staff and patients who are in the hospital.
According to statements from a spokesperson for the medical center, the power substations in the area have experienced technical problems, causing interruptions in the air conditioning service in different areas of the hospital. In response to this situation, internal protocols have been activated to mitigate the impact of high temperatures in the affected areas.
"We are working to resolve this situation as soon as possible and restore the normal operation of the air conditioning in all sections of the hospital. The comfort and well-being of our patients and staff are our highest priority," assured the spokesperson.
So far, it is unknown how long it will take to completely solve this problem, and users of the hospital have been asked for their understanding while the necessary repairs are made to the air conditioning system in the affected areas.
