In parallel, garbage trucks are maintaining their scheduled routes. The waste collection company is focusing on recovering waste accumulation points. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with community leader Johnny Valencia, aims to keep roads, ditches, and public areas clear of trash and bulky waste. These operations involve operational personnel with the support of heavy machinery, including dump trucks and an excavator. On this occasion, the work was concentrated in the city center and will continue along the Trans-Isthmian Highway and other sectors of Colón. The waste collection company Aguaseo S.A., responsible for waste collection in the district of Colón, is carrying out an operation called "Navidad 025", while the municipality of Colón announced cleanups at various points, starting in the Cristóbal Este district.
