With Há-bla-lo, we don't just want to listen; we want to give everyone a tool that reminds them they are not alone. The Ministry of Social Development (MIDES), through the Psychological Assistance and Orientation Line 147 project, presented the book 'Há-bla-lo,' a new tool that promotes emotional well-being through positive messages and practical exercises focused on calm, assertive communication, and emotional regulation. Packed with positive messages, it incorporates practical exercises aimed at dynamically fostering calm, assertive communication, and emotional regulation. This book is designed to reinforce and complement Line 147, which, since its relaunch in September 2024, has received over 18,000 calls. The presented book uses a visual language and collects phrases expressed in a simple, everyday manner, free of technical jargon, with the aim of addressing mental health in an accessible and understandable way for the population. The Minister of Social Development, Beatriz Carles, highlighted that 'Há-bla-lo' is the result of the work, vocation, and sensitivity of the invaluable team of technicians, psychologists, and social workers who maintain direct contact with the population through Line 147 every day. 'Today we know that having the right words, at the moment when someone else needs them most, can save lives,' the minister expressed.
