A family in Panama is mourning the death of a 3-year-old girl who died from a fever, vomiting, and diarrhea while being transported to the hospital. The girl's relatives, residing in the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca, noticed her condition worsening and called 911. Despite all efforts by the parents and paramedics from the Unique Emergency Management System, the child could not be saved and died en route to the medical center. The body was swiftly processed by the Public Ministry for an autopsy as part of the investigation into this tragic event.
