Two Men Drown in Rivers of Panama

Panama - Two men drowned yesterday in West Panama and North Panama in two separate incidents, causing grief and sorrow to their families. One of the cases was reported around 7:30 PM in the La Reforma River, located in the Caimitillo district of Panama. It was a gentleman who was also at the place, cooling off in the river, who pulled him out of the water, but he was already lifeless. In another case, almost three and a half hours earlier, Luis Miguel Morán Jaén, 28, also drowned, but in the El Hervedor River, located in the El Cacao district, in the district of Capira. As his uncle recounted, he had entered the water and after five minutes he did not see him, so he started looking for him, finding him unconscious in the river. It was Mr. Ramos's own nephew who located the body. He pulled him out and tried to resuscitate him, but upon failing to do so, he called the police. The young man was enjoying a Sunday afternoon with some friends, but for unknown reasons, he drowned. After both incidents occurred, the authorities carried out the procedures for body removal, for which a rigorous necropsy will be performed.
