In the district of Alanje, Chiriquí, authorities from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported the discovery of the lifeless body of a one-year and three-month-old baby who had previously been reported missing in the Quebrada Negra area, in Nuevo México.
The minor was found in the morning after an alert was issued regarding his disappearance. The National Emergency Operations Center was also involved in the search and rescue efforts.
Sinaproc expressed regret over the tragic situation and confirmed the fatal outcome of the child, whose disappearance had caused concern in the community. Despite the efforts made, the outcome was unfortunate.
