MOCA deputies presented changes related to the selection of the board of directors, as well as the requirements for choosing the general director and deputy general director of the Social Security Fund (CSS).
During the plenary session of the National Assembly, the proposed reforms were discussed in a second debate. These modifications aim to improve transparency and efficiency in the election process of key officials of the CSS.
In this regard, one of the deputies explained: "It is essential to ensure that the board of directors of the CSS is composed of suitable individuals with experience in the area of social security." On the other hand, the importance of establishing clear and objective requirements for the selection of the general director and deputy general director of the institution was emphasized.
The reform proposals were carefully analyzed by the legislators, who debated the possible impacts of the changes on the functioning of the CSS. These modifications are expected to be discussed in future plenary sessions for their final approval.
