New Leadership in SENAFRONT Amid Corruption Investigation

The Ministry of Security announced that Commissioner Jorge Luis Gobea will retire and take charge of SENAFRONT, replacing Larry. On the other hand, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into possible irregularities in the payment of 14 million dollars by Meduca intended for the internet connection in schools nationwide.

Once his duties as commissioner are completed, Jorge Luis Gobea will retire to begin a new phase as director of SENAFRONT, substituting Larry. This appointment is part of the internal changes in the Ministry of Security.

Regarding the investigation by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, an official investigation has been opened due to suspicions of embezzlement arising from possible irregularities detected in the disbursement of 14 million dollars that were intended to improve internet connectivity in schools across the country.
