CSS Announces Zero Tolerance for Corruption in Panama

The Social Security Fund (CSS) informs the public that, following the recent apprehension of an official of the institution in Chiriquí as a result of a joint operation by the Public Ministry and the National Border Service (SENAFRONT), all required information and documentation have been made available to the authorities to clarify the corresponding responsibilities.

The CSS categorically rejects any act of corruption and maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any conduct that violates ethics, transparency, and good public administration.

Likewise, the institution reaffirms its commitment to accountability, institutional integrity, and strict compliance with the laws governing public functions.

The CSS reiterates to the Panamanian public its commitment to maintaining transparent, responsible, and public service-oriented management, collaborating with all competent authorities to prevent, detect, and sanction any act contrary to administrative probity.
