Two men, aged 18 and 29, both Panamanian nationals, were apprehended by units of the National Border Service (Senafront) after being identified by individuals at the Río Sereno terminal as the alleged perpetrators of the sexual abuse of a 21-year-old woman from Costa Rica. Both suspects were transferred to the Citizen Attention Hall of Sub-Lieutenant Aurelio Serracín Battalion, where they remain at the disposal of the competent authorities. It is detailed that the alleged victim was immediately transported to the medical center in this border zone and subsequently, by order of the Renascimento Prosecutor's Office, sent to the offices of the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in David for the corresponding procedures. In the coming hours, these individuals will be brought before a Guarantees Judge to comply with the legal process.
