Naval units detected a vessel with three packages of alleged drugs at a Pacific port terminal. The illicit substance was found in a hidden compartment on a ship coming from Charleston, United States, with a stop in Panama and final destination in Australia. This occurred at a Pacific port terminal in the province of Panama. The operation was carried out through intelligence, verification, and profiling on board the vessel, locating the packages at the stern of the ship's structure. Subsequently, coordination was made with the Provincial Drug Prosecutor's Office of Panama to carry out verification and counting procedures. The Naval forces report that so far in 2025, they have seized 56,281 packages of illicit substances through 125 operations.
