To monitor the border zone between Panama and Colombia, the Minister of Public Security, Frank Alexis Ábrego, and the Director General of the National Border Service, Larry Solís, traveled on Wednesday, December 24, to the province of Darién to visit the Binational Surveillance Base, located in Alto Limón.

The specific objective of the tour was to inspect the situation of landmines found during Operation 'Centinela,' which demonstrates the intention to exercise effective territorial control along the border strip.

The Minister and the Director of Senafront took the opportunity to have lunch with the troops who, during this Christmas, will remain in distant points far from their families, in order to safeguard the population and our territorial space.
