A man was detained during a raid conducted by the Public Ministry, with the support of the National Police, for his alleged involvement in the homicide that occurred on December 28, 2025, in the community of San Isidro, district of Cativá, province of Colón. The capture involved officials from the Homicide and Femicide Section of the Colón and Guna Yala Prosecutor's Office, who have been tracking this case since the end of last year. That night, Alberto Robert, 35, lost his life after being shot by hitmen in the middle of the community. Seriously injured, he was taken to the emergency room, but did not survive. The authorities keep the investigations open, in a province hit by violence, where more than 100 people died last year in incidents related to armed crimes.
