The National Police reported on Saturday the seizure of four firearms, various illicit substances, and technological equipment within the La Joya Penitentiary Center. This action was part of the 'Armageddon' operation carried out inside the prison. Packages of cigarettes, individual cigars, lighters, cell phones, cell phone chargers, and perfume bottles were also confiscated. IN OTHER ACTIONS: The PN seized a firearm and a pistol-type magazine after inspecting a private vehicle in the Río Abajo sector. Additionally, a magazine, ammunition, and a plastic bag with a suspected illicit substance were found. Within the framework of the 'Firmness Plan' and the 'Odyssey-Vigilance' operation, 231 people were apprehended in the last 24 hours. Of these, 156 were by warrant, 56 for administrative offenses, 10 caught in the act, and nine for micro-trafficking.
