A strong small safe with money, as well as cell phones and personal items, was the loot taken by criminals on Sunday night after a robbery committed in a company located in the Buena Vista area of the Colón Transit Zone. Upon learning of the incident, units from the National Police's Judicial Investigation Section in Buena Vista went to the scene to gather information. The case was classified as an aggravated robbery against workers of the company Grupo Ocean Inc., located between the communities of El Giral and the entrance to Sardinilla. It was reported that at the time of the criminals' entry, five workers were working in the manufacturing of disposable packaging. It was then that three masked individuals, of dark complexion and armed, violently entered the premises. The employees were threatened, beaten, and gagged, while the criminals stripped them of their cell phones, watches, gold items, and cash. Subsequently, the subjects broke into four commercial trucks of the company, from which they stole a small safe with money, the amount of which has not been specified. After committing the robbery, the criminals fled through the back of the company. Authorities are continuing the investigation.
