Panamanian Police Apprehend 169 People in 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours, as part of the 'Firmness Plan', the National Police apprehended 169 individuals in various sectors of the country. Of these, 115 were apprehended by warrant, 35 for administrative offenses, eight caught in the act, and 11 for micro-trafficking. A total of 105 raids were conducted, nine firearms with 66 rounds of ammunition, B/.12,595.34 in cash, and one recovered vehicle were seized. In terms of traffic, 936 fines were issued, including 145 for speeding, 60 for improper lights, 10 for using a cell phone while driving, 22 for expired licenses, and seven for proven drunkenness.
