One assailant was killed and another injured in a shootout with the owner of the 'Ostriches' agrotourism farm, located in the Rio Hato district, Coclé province. Two other assailants, presumably wounded, are being sought by the National Police (PN) in the pastures near the farm, with the help of drones. Jhony Miranda, Executive of the Coclé Police Zone, reported that the search for a vehicle, in which the criminals were presumably traveling, is also maintained. The deceased assailant had a criminal record for drug possession, crimes against collective security, and attempted homicide. The officer added that the farm owner defended himself with a shotgun for which he has a permit.
