In Panama, a citizen of Cuban nationality was apprehended by the National Police after a drug shipment hidden in double-bottomed items was discovered in a workshop located in Panama Norte. During the raid, carried out at a premises in the Villa Grecia sector, Las Cumbres district, authorities seized 18 rims, four crankshafts, one flywheel, and 166 bags with suspected illicit substances. According to preliminary investigations, the drug shipment was destined for the Asian continent. All parts and flywheels had been modified to hide the illicit substance within them. At the conclusion of the operation, the suspect, along with all the confiscated evidence, was placed at the disposal of the corresponding judicial authorities for the follow-up of the case.
