Panama Court Dismisses Mayor's $10M Lawsuit

The Third Administrative Litigation Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice dismissed an administrative litigation claim for compensation filed by the current district mayor of Panama, Mayer Mizrachi, seeking $10 million in damages from the State for the Public Ministry’s (MP) failure to provide public services.

Panama is evaluating a direct air route to Dubai with Emirates Airlines. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Javier Martínez-Acha, and the President of Emirates Airlines, Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, discussed the possibility.
