Panama's President Meets with Deputies to Discuss Key Projects

President José Raúl Mulino met this Tuesday with the bench of deputies from Democratic Change (CD) to review the progress of projects aimed at solving problems that people have been dragging for years. The table was clear: drinking water, damaged roads, and hospitals in poor condition remain priorities, along with improvements in schools and other works under execution. During the meeting, the deputies stated that the president's management has provided concrete answers, especially on issues that directly impact the people. The fight against drug trafficking and livestock theft was also mentioned, two crimes that continue to affect different regions of the country and keep authorities on alert. Mulino, accompanied by the Minister of the Presidency, Juan Carlos Orillac, presented a report on the plan that seeks to urgently address the problem of drinking water, especially in the hard-hit Azuero region. According to their explanation, all resources are being mobilized so that water reaches homes that have been waiting for a solution for a long time. From the CD bench, they made it clear that they will continue to support governability, betting that these projects will translate into real improvements for the people. The message was direct: there is political will, but now the pressure is on for promises to become works that can be seen on the street.
