Panama - A total of 680 packages of illicit substances and one vessel were seized, as well as two men detained, as a result of an operation carried out south of Punta Coco, located in the Las Perlas Archipelago, province of Panama. The black sacks and other colored packages containing the drugs were located inside a suspicious vessel, which was inspected by units of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan). As the sacks were in plain sight, the crew, the vessel, and the narcocargo were transferred to the Captain of Frigate D.E.M Noel Antonio Rodríguez Justavino Naval Base, where personnel from the Panama Drug Prosecutor's proceeded to count the packages of illicit substances. Senan detailed that so far this year, the entity has seized 20.5 tons of illicit substances through 24 operations.
