During the hearing he was taken to, his arrest was legalized, he was charged with the crime, and pretrial detention was ordered as a precautionary measure. Attempting to distance himself from a violent incident that occurred at the end of February this year on the Transístmica in Colón, a man allegedly involved fled to Chepo to evade authorities. However, at a security checkpoint in that area, it was detected that there was a search warrant for him in Colón, so he was immediately arrested. The crime for which he is being investigated occurred on February 23 in the La Pradera community, Buena Vista district, where he is linked to shots fired at a person who almost lost their life. In this case, there are other individuals implicated in the attempted homicide, who are also being sought by the authorities. The detainee faces charges for crimes against life and personal integrity.
