According to close sources, some parliamentarians have pointed out that the way Cortizo and Carrizo have handled certain situations has not been the most favorable for the country. Specifically, the lack of dialogue and consensus in decision-making processes has been mentioned.
One of the representatives of Parlacen stated: "It is important to establish a smooth and collaborative working relationship with the Panamanian authorities to achieve significant progress in the region, but unfortunately the current situation does not favor that objective."
