Panama, Curaçao, and Haiti Qualify for 2026 World Cup

Panama, Curaçao, and Haiti have qualified for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The teams finished first in their respective groups in the Concacaf region, bringing the total number of qualified teams to 42 out of the 48 slots. Meanwhile, Jamaica and Suriname earned the right to compete in the intercontinental playoff by finishing as the two best second-placed teams in their groups. Earlier, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Scotland, and Switzerland also secured their spots, joining Germany, Croatia, France, England, Norway, Netherlands, and Portugal as the twelve direct qualifiers from Europe. The second-placed teams from each of the twelve UEFA groups and the four best teams from the UEFA Nations League will compete in a European playoff, which will award four remaining World Cup spots. The intercontinental playoff, featuring six representatives from South America, Concacaf, Asia, Africa, and Oceania, will be held in March and will grant two final berths.
