Panama had a strong start to the week at the 2025 Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho-Lima, Peru, by winning four bronze medals.

One of these medals was won in fencing, in the men's individual épée event. Arturo Dorati, who had previously won gold at the past Central American Games in Guatemala, began his campaign by advancing past the poule (group stage). In the direct elimination rounds, he defeated Peru's Sebastián Bereche 15-13 in the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, Dorati faced Chile's Jorge Valderrama in a tight match, winning 15-14. However, in a closely contested semifinal, Dorati was narrowly beaten by Venezuela's Francisco Limardo with a score of 15-14.

Thus, Arturo Dorati secured the bronze medal in épée. It is worth noting that another Panamanian fencer, José Quirós, also competed but was eliminated in the quarterfinals by the same Limardo, 12-15.

In addition to fencing, Panama's bronze medals were won in wrestling (Yusneiry Agrazal in the 53 kg category), swimming (Bernhard Tyler Christianson in the 200m breaststroke), and in esports (team Dota 2).
