In another police operation, the Antinarcotics unit of the SENAFRONT's Third Brigade in East Panama apprehended a man and a woman at the Chepo checkpoint. This followed the inspection of a bus traveling the Panama – Darien route, during which a backpack containing four rectangular packages wrapped in tape and presumed to hold illicit substances was detected. The necessary procedures were coordinated with the Panama Drug Prosecutor's Office. The individuals involved will face justice.
