In Panama, a violent incident that occurred early Monday morning left one dead and two injured. The incident took place inside a residence located in the San Carlitos area, David district, Chiriquí province.
Currently, few details are known about the event, but it is reported to be an attempted robbery during which the homeowner, a 34-year-old man, apparently a foreigner, was shot dead, while his partner was also injured.
Another injured person is the presumed assailant, who was taken under police custody to a nearby medical center for treatment.
Commissioner Luis Hernández, head of the Chiriquí police zone, stated that the Police and the Public Ministry are already investigating the case.
