The scene was discovered when staff noticed the security guard was unresponsive. Unknown individuals reportedly entered the mill with the intention of stealing the firearm from the security guard, according to unofficial information. During the violent incident, the guard was murdered, with his body left inside the facility. National Police units, along with agents from the Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ) and forensic experts, arrived at the scene to cordon off the area for evidence collection and to initiate the corresponding procedures. The Prosecutor's Office is also in charge of the investigation to determine how the events occurred and to apprehend those responsible for this crime, which once again strikes private security workers in the country.
