The National Police reported the arrest in the community of Caimito, district of Dolega, of one of the most wanted individuals by the authorities for his alleged involvement in a crime against life and personal integrity, in the aggravated homicide modality. According to the authorities, the individual is Josué Isabel Morales Pinto, 26 years old, who is linked to an incident that occurred on September 4, 2025, in a nightclub in the David district, Chiriquí province. In this incident, Ángel Ruedas, alias "Pelón", 25, was shot three times outside the venue and died at the Rafael Hernández Regional Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition. According to some sources, the victim had a criminal record for crimes related to injury with bladed and firearms; as well as mistreatment of the elderly and against property. The Police states that the arrest is part of the fight against crime, highlighting the importance of the rapid action and coordination of its units to bring people with criminal records to justice.
